Top 10 Permanent Makeup Studios in Toronto (November 2026)

A researched shortlist of ten Toronto permanent makeup studios, compared by services, published prices, safety information and who each suits.

Independent ranking. No business paid to be on this list. Read how we rank.

Key takeaways

  • Bloom Beauty Studio is our first pick: one named artist does every consultation and procedure, it offers a free consultation and it says it is inspected through Toronto Public Health's BodySafe program.
  • For prices you can see before you book, look at Beauty Room, Aura Glow Aesthetics and Maya Studio. Beauty Room splits prices by senior and junior artist.
  • For brows only, Mayara Pacini and Inked Izzy focus on brow and lip work. For a mix of permanent makeup and medical aesthetics, look at La Beauty Boutique and Beauty By Yael.
  • Always ask about hygiene, pigments and touch-ups. Several studios here do not publish prices or safety details, so ask before you book.

Permanent makeup, also called cosmetic tattooing or PMU, deposits pigment into the skin to shape brows, tint lips or define the lash line. Studios vary a lot in technique, training and hygiene, and many do not publish prices. This guide compares ten Toronto studios we researched, explains why each is on the list and tells you who each suits. Everything comes from each studio’s own website, so we report what the studios say and flag what we could not confirm.

Quick answer

If you want one artist from consultation to touch-up and clear safety information, start with Bloom Beauty Studio. If you want to see prices first, Beauty Room, Aura Glow Aesthetics and Maya Studio publish them. If you mainly want brows, Mayara Pacini and Inked Izzy focus on brow and lip work. Whoever you pick, ask about hygiene, pigments and touch-ups before you pay a deposit.

How we chose these studios

We built a candidate pool from search results, booking directories and published local guides, then read each studio’s own website. We kept studios where we could confirm a Toronto address, a list of permanent makeup services and a way to book. We dropped studios that did not show a street address, sat outside Toronto, or gave too little detail to describe fairly.

For each studio we looked at:

  • Services: which procedures it offers and how clearly it explains them.
  • Who does the work: whether the artist is named and what training the studio states.
  • Safety: whether it describes sterile tools, approved pigments or public health inspections.
  • Transparency: published prices, touch-up terms and consultation details.
  • Access: location, hours and how you book.

We did not visit these studios for this guide, and we did not use star ratings from review sites, because they cannot be compared fairly across platforms. Claims about awards, experience and ratings are the studios’ own, and we say so where it applies. Read our full ranking method.

The ten studios

1. Bloom Beauty Studio: best for one artist and clear safety information

Where: 391 Whitmore Avenue, Oakwood-Vaughan.

Bloom Beauty Studio lists powder brows, nano brows, lip blush, lash line enhancement, classic and shaded eyeliner, and laser removal and correction of older permanent makeup, with discounted packages that combine services. Its founder, Anna, performs all consultations and procedures. The site says she studied visual arts at OCAD, describes herself as multi-certified without naming the certifications, and says she invests in advanced education every year.

Safety is where it stands out among the studios we checked. The studio says it is regularly inspected through Toronto Public Health’s BodySafe program and uses single-use needles and brushes that are disposed of after each client. It applies topical anaesthetic where appropriate and reviews health information before appointments. Clients who are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking certain medications or living with medical conditions are advised to speak to a health professional first, and treatment may be postponed.

Practical details: a free consultation is offered, where preferences are discussed and a custom design is created, and the client approves the shape and colour before the procedure begins. It is open Monday to Friday 9:30 am to 6 pm and Saturday 9:30 am to 3 pm, by appointment only. The site says prices are listed on each service page, but we did not find them on the pages we reviewed. It describes itself as the best in Toronto and cites 200 or more five-star Google reviews, which are its own claims.

Best for: clients who want one artist throughout and want to see safety practices stated plainly. Consider: confirm prices on the service pages, and note the studio does not name its certifications.

2. Beauty Room: best for published prices and detailed hygiene steps

Where: 17 Atlantic Avenue, Unit 2, Liberty Village.

Beauty Room offers nano brows, powdered or ombré brows, combo brows, lip blush, lash liner and colour boost sessions for existing clients. It publishes prices that include one follow-up: nano or combo brows are $700 with a senior artist or $500 with a junior artist, powdered brows are $650 or $450, lip blush is $750 and lash liner is $575. A $100 deposit is deducted from the first session. The studio says a six-week touch-up after healing is included if needed and recommends a refresh at 18 to 24 months.

It describes Health Canada approved pigments, new individually sealed sterile needles for each client and barrier film on equipment. It lists who should not have the procedure, including people who are pregnant, breastfeeding, prone to keloids or having chemotherapy, and it lists pre-care rules such as no Accutane for a year. Artists are not named on the page. Hours are Monday and Saturday 10 am to 6 pm and Tuesday to Friday 10 am to 8 pm, with online booking.

Best for: clients who want a price in advance and a choice between senior and junior artists. Consider: artists and their training are not named, and the touch-up timing differs slightly between pages.

3. Aura Glow Aesthetics: best for permanent makeup alongside skin treatments

Where: 250 Sheppard Avenue East, Suite 200, North York.

Aura Glow offers microblading, nano brows, powder brows and lip blush, plus laser hair removal and facial treatments. Its website lists microblading at $450 and lip blush at $450, with the lip blush touch-up included, and says it was established in 2017. It names “Nurse Ella” and a nurse esthetician but does not say which treatments each person performs or list credentials. It is open every day, 10 am to 11 pm, and offers online and same-day booking. We did not find a touch-up policy for brows, a consultation description or safety protocols.

Best for: North York clients who want permanent makeup and skin treatments in one visit. Consider: ask who will do your procedure and what training they have.

4. Maya Studio: best for brow and lip prices on the Yonge corridor

Where: 5409 Yonge Street, North York.

Maya Studio lists microblading at $400, nano blading at $400, powder brows at $350, lip blush at $370 and eyeliner tattoo at $370. The artist is Maya Saraf, described as a certified PMU artist, with no certifications or training listed. A free consultation is available through the contact page, and you can book online, by phone or by Instagram message. We did not find hours, a touch-up policy or hygiene details. The page also shows testimonials that appear to belong to a Montreal business, so we did not use any of its reviews.

Best for: clients who want a price list and a free consultation on the Yonge corridor. Consider: ask about hygiene, pigments and touch-up terms, because the site does not state them.

5. Mayara Pacini: best for brow specialists

Where: 1920 Yonge Street, near Davisville.

This studio focuses on brows. It lists microblading, nano brows, powder brows and combo brows, each taking about two to three hours, and describes how long each lasts, from about six months to two years depending on the method. It also offers lamination, tinting and shaping. Each session starts with an assessment of face shape, skin tone and natural brow pattern. The artist, Mayara Pacini, says she has worked on brows since 2020 and mentions international training standards without naming schools or certificates. You can book online or by WhatsApp. We did not find prices, hours or hygiene details.

Best for: clients who want a brow-only specialist. Consider: confirm prices and safety practices directly.

6. Inked Izzy: best for brows and lips including corrections

Where: 290 Carlaw Avenue, Suite 202A, Leslieville.

Inked Izzy lists powder brows, nano brows, lip blush, lip neutralization, healed brows and lips, freckles, lash line enhancement and brow lamination, and also offers lip blush for mature lips. The studio says it was established in 2020 and describes its approach as skin-first. The artist is named only as Izzy, and no certifications or health protocols are listed. It calls itself award-recognized without naming the awards. Booking is online, and a cancellation policy is linked. We did not find prices or hours.

Best for: east-end clients who want correction work on older brows or lips. Consider: prices and safety details are not published.

7. Beauty By Yael: best for permanent makeup with tattoo removal and skin services

Where: 349 Carlaw Avenue, Unit 303, Leslieville.

Beauty By Yael offers powder brows, nano brows, combo brows, lip blush, eyeliner and lash line enhancement, along with tattoo removal, facials, laser skincare and wellness services such as massage. It describes its artists as award-winning but names no artists, awards or credentials on the page we reviewed. It is open Tuesday to Saturday 10 am to 6 pm and closed Sunday and Monday. You can book a consultation or an appointment online. We did not find prices.

Best for: clients who want permanent makeup and tattoo removal at the same studio. Consider: the “number one” claims on the site are its own, and artists are not named.

8. Her Beauty Yorkville: best for a Yorkville location with daily hours

Where: 69 Yorkville Avenue, Suite 206, Yorkville.

Her Beauty offers permanent makeup, nano brows and lip blush alongside lash extensions, makeup and brow services. It says it has served more than 4,000 clients and offers private one-on-one appointments. It is open every day from 10 am to 8 pm, and you can book online or by phone. The page we reviewed does not name its artists or list prices, training or safety details.

Best for: clients who want to book close to Yorkville, including evenings and Sundays. Consider: ask for the artist’s name and training.

9. La Beauty Boutique: best for permanent makeup in a medical spa setting

Where: 1777 Avenue Road, North York.

La Beauty Boutique describes itself as a medical spa and skincare clinic. Its permanent makeup menu lists brow powder, eyeliner tattoo, lip tattoo and scalp tattoo (micropigmentation), and it offers laser tattoo removal with a pico laser. A consultation is required before brow powder treatments and recommended before eyeliner tattoos and laser removal. The founder is Fanny Garnier, a master aesthetician, but the page we reviewed does not list permanent makeup training or prices. Hours are daily 10 am to 8 pm, with online booking. Some menu links on the site appear to point to the wrong pages, so confirm what you are booking.

Best for: clients who want a consultation first and may also need scalp or laser removal services. Consider: prices and hygiene details are not published.

10. ArtTouch Permanent Makeup: best for lip blush by a named senior artist

Where: 55 Gerrard Street West, downtown Toronto.

ArtTouch lists lip blush, powder and ombré brows and lash enhancement. It names Lida Kuznetsova as senior artist, says she has five years of experience, trained in Russia, has done more than 500 lip blush procedures and has trained more than 30 people. There is a “Book Online” link. We did not find prices, hours, a phone number, touch-up terms or safety details, and the site looks like it has not been updated recently, so confirm details first.

Best for: clients who want a lip blush specialist near downtown. Consider: confirm the studio is currently taking clients, and ask about hygiene and pricing.

How to choose a permanent makeup studio in Toronto

  1. Ask who does the work. Ask for the artist’s name, training and how long they have done the procedure you want.
  2. Ask about hygiene. Ask whether the studio is inspected by Toronto Public Health, and whether needles and tools are single-use.
  3. Ask about pigments. Ask which pigment brands are used and whether they are approved for use in Canada.
  4. Look at healed results. Healed photos show more than fresh ones.
  5. Ask what is included. Check whether the price includes a touch-up, how many weeks later it happens and what a refresh costs.

For more on what to check, see our permanent makeup category page.

What does permanent makeup cost in Toronto?

Prices depend on the procedure, the artist and whether a touch-up is included. From the studio websites we checked: Maya Studio lists brows from $350 to $400 and lip blush at $370, Aura Glow Aesthetics lists microblading and lip blush at $450 each, and Beauty Room lists brows from $450 to $700 and lip blush at $750, depending on artist level, with a follow-up included. Most other studios on this list do not publish prices. These are not directly comparable, because each studio defines its sessions differently. Always ask what is included and whether a deposit applies.
